He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Reedie and Georgia Winston; his grandson Lawrence Atlas Jr.; his brother Ricky Wells; and his parent Georgia Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Clara Atlas; his children, Lawrence Atlas (Michelle), Arthur Atlas Jr. and Sharon Atlas; his siblings, Gregory Wells (Demetric), Betty Burgess, Debra Wells, Peggy Wells (Mike) and Patricia Wells; his grandchildren, Martika Atlas, Letti Tinnon, Aiceanna Baker, Marquis Atlas, Allison Westbrook Jr. (Sher-Ron), Larenze Atlas, Craig Talbert (Crystal), Anika Hanson, Acacia Atlas, Alessandria Atlas, Klara Atlas and LaDainian Atlas; and his great grandchildren, Akim, Tiana, Adya, Demetrius Jr., Marquis Jr. Brett, Autumn, Jac, Savannah and Maverick.
