With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jo Haupt in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Harold and Ruth "Hulse" Nelson; her grandfather Bill (Baba); her stepfather Carl Nelson; her brother Robert "Hunter" Nelson; her daughter Susan Kay Hardee; her son-in-law Robert D. Hardee; and her former husband William A. Haupt of Canton, MO.
She is survived by: her husband John A. "Jack" Walz; her granddaughters, Adina Cambron (Steven) of Lee's Summit, MO and Stephanie Carpenter (Jason) of Lee's Summit, MO; her stepgrandsons, Adam Hardee (Brandy) of Phenix City, AL. and Patrick T. T. Hardee of Phenix City, AL.; her great grandchildren, Trinity, Avery Cambron, Gwen, Violet Carpenter of Lee's Summit, MO, Brandon, Samantha Hardee of Phenix City, AL and Billie Jean Haupt of St. Louis, MO.; her stepsister Barbara "Little B" Rauter-Hardman of Thomasville, GA; and her cousins, Rita Jane Jackson of Herrin, IL and Louann Lawrence (Rick) of St. Charles, MO.
