He was predeceased by: his wife McKay Gerdes; and his grandfathers, Leonard Wheat and Charles Gerdes. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Gerdes and Nancy Gerdes; his sister Amanda Durham (Adam); his nieces, Reagan and Finley Durham; and his grandmothers, Louise Gremmels and Madonna Gerdes.
