It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice C. Dieckbernd of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Freeburg, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bernice leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Dieckbernd (Jim). She is survived by: her daughter Jane Earnhart (Bruce) of Springfield, MO; her granddaughter Hannah Gieseke (Cody) of Lee's Summit, MO; her stepgrandson Connor Earnhart; and her great grandchild Avery. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
