He was predeceased by: his mother Charleen Herr. He is survived by: his father Philip Herr of Collinsville, IL; his daughters, Margaret "Maggie" Scott (Corey), Anne "Annie" Herr and Elizabeth "Libby" Herr; the mother of his children Kathryn O'Flynn; his grandsons, Charles "Charlie" and James "Jack" Scott; and his brothers, Jeffrey Herr of Swansea, IL, Kevin Herr of Collinsville, IL and Daniel Herr (Anne) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
