She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Post and James Coats; and her spouse Bennie Shoemaker. She is survived by: her son Greg Shoemaker (Pam).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel (1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
