He was predeceased by: his son Scott Hoag; his parents, Herbert J. Hoag and Yvonne Hoag; and his brother Herbert J. Hoag, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Tatom (Brett); his granddaughters, Brianna and Brynn; and his close friend Glenda Tubbs.
