The memory of Cora Mae Hawkins of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her children, Wadell Lampkin, Joe Henry Hawkins, Jr., Yvette Hines and Monique Hawkins; and her great grandchild Janiah Ware.

She is survived by: her daughter Demetria Walker, Jr. (Andrew) of East St; her siblings, Constance McKenzie of Washington Park, Joyce Roberson of Belleville, Illinois, Ellis Lampkin, Jr. (Elouise) of Indiana, Lamond Lampkin, Sr. (Linda) of East St and Tyrone Lampkin (Earline) of East St; and her grandchildren, Monay Rowe and Tiffany Ware. She is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church (2908 Louisiana Blvd, East St Louis, IL 62226). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
