He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Adams and Gwendolyn Adams; and his siblings, Rosemary Adams, Carol Upchurch and Dale Adams.

He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Adams (Dan Althoff), Tracey Adams and Melanie Adams; his grandchildren, Jeff Clauss (Teresa), Lindsay Clauss and Andrew Piry; and his siblings, Marilyn Woods and Stanley "Brent" Adams. He is also survived by one niece and several nephews.
