He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Norman Samel and Cecilia Marie Samel. He is survived by: his wife Mona Samel of Luebbering, MO; his children, Daniel Samel (Tori) of Luebbering, MO and Kayla Samel (Luke Pridemore) of Sullivan, MO; his grandchildren, Reagan, Raylan, Kenzi Samel and Eleanor Pridemore; his siblings, Patrick Samel of Rolla, MO, Pam Benson (Bruce) of New Haven, MO, Marianne Lindsey (Bill) of Union, MO, Barbara Leadbetter of St. Clair, MO and Donna Hinson of St. Clair, MO; his mother-in-law Janice Morton of Luebbering, MO; and his sister-in-law Miste Laturno (Tim) of Lonedell, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
