She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sonya DeBruce Wright and Milton Payne; her friend Danny; her children, Gabrielle Faith DeBruce, JoJo and Asia; her grandparents, Tommie DeBruce Jr. and Geneva Brown; her uncle Tommie KaShun DeBruce III; her stepfather Joe Wright; her sister Quenita "Moe" Boyd; her aunts and uncles, Angela Fox, Shelia Slack, Carmela Denson (Garry), Carla Richardson (Stan), Veronica "Peaches" Sherrod, Orlando DeBruce, Michael DeBruce, Derek "Tony" DeBruce and Reggie Wright (Sheryl); her great-uncles and great-aunts, Sharon DeBruce, Beverly Mitchell (Bill), Peggy Harris (Marion), Kerry DeBruce (Rosa) and Charles Person (Kathy); her grandmother Virgie Blue; and her aunt La Tia King Harrison.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Serenity Memorial Chapel - Belleville (3416 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62226).
