He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Norma; and his uncles, Don Edney, Dale Meyer, Roger Taylo and Richard Morrow.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Kassman Edney; his children, Jennifer Vlenofer (Mike) and Dennis Edney Jr. (Brittany); his stepdaughters, Jennifer Burton (Jason) and Melissa Harrison (James); his grandchildren, Hayden, Austin, Turner, Evelyn, Harrison, Griffin, Stephen, Samuel, Sabrina, Lillian, Chase and Ryan; and his siblings, John (Terri), Diane, Stephen (Diane) and Lisa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
