The memory of Donald G. Soffer of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusta Soffer (Krupnick) and Sam Soffer; his spouse Pearl Lipsitz; and his siblings, Harry, Louis and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Soffer (Andy Kanefield), Allen Soffer (Mary Beth) and Patte Ackermann (Gary); his grandchildren, Perry Soffer-Kanefield, Parker Soffer-Kanefield, Dena Soffer (Simon Crocker), Sarah Soffer, Elizabeth Soffer (Nick Beulick), Donald Soffer (Callie), Greg Ackermann (Amy) and Daniel Ackermann; his great grandchildren, Elyse Pearl Crocker and Will Crocker; his brother Jackie; his sister-in-law Marty Lipsitz; his friends, Mishaal Taqui and Shirley Schermer; and his girlfriend Marilyn Levy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Congregation Shaare Emeth (11645 Ladue Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A shiva will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Soffer Residence (1081 Cabin Club Dr, St. Louis, MO 63124).
