She was predeceased by : her siblings, Arline Bastow and Robert Manfre; and her mother Rita Horton. She is survived by : her sons, David Schumer (Donna) and Mark Schumer (Krista); her grandchildren, Stormi Schumer (Ryan), Nicholas Schumer (Asia), Elizabeth Schumer and Katherine Schumer; her great grandchildren, Jakob, Kane, Wesley, Brody, Allison and Evelyn; and her sister Patricia Staab (late Donald).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home (12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
