He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Smith and Harry Kramer of St. Louis; his grandparents, Edward and Ottilia Smith; and also Irma.
He is survived by: his brother James; his daughters, Fran Conty (Wayne), Jeanne Kim (Jhinkyung), Tereza Kramer and Beth Curran (Jeff); his stepchildren, Kris Bonner, Chelle Pentecost, Nicole Squire (Colin) and Bill Leister (Meg); his grandchildren, Nicolas Conty, Brian, Jessica Kim, Raquel, Ana Kramer, Lucas Curran (Tina), Jack Curran (Addie), Josie Curran, Kate, Eli Bonner, Jake Pentecost, Emily Cramer (Mac), Cameron, Liam, Drew Squire, Jared, Dylan, Kaley and Ryan Leister; and also Gretchen.
