In the sacred silence of farewell, Elmer is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elmer's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vicki Muellhaupt; his daughters, Kristen Muellhaupt, Shelley Kohlman (Lucas) and Suzie Gillespie (late Brian); and his grandchildren, James Pack, Avery Pack, Abram Gillespie and Eli Gillespie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes – South City Chapel (7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Churchyard.
