We are sad to announce that, on February 7, 2026, at the age of 91, Elmer Eugene Nichols in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nichols and Daisy Nichols (Parks). He is survived by: his wife Viola Marie Welch; his children, Pam Rogers (Jerry) and Gary Nichols (Annette); his grandsons, Christopher Rogers (Elizama), Matt Rogers, Austin Nichols (Shara), Eric Nichols (Brittany) and Nathan Nichols (Darian Hyde); his great grandchildren, Isabel, Abigail, Kane, Lanie, Josalie, Rowan, Cordell, Emery, Paisley, Parker, Tucker and Sutton; his sister Judy Deffendall (Gene); and his brother-in-law Anvil Welch (Bobette). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethany Chapel Cemetery and left at Yarber Mortuary.
