He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerry Oplt and Mary Oplt (Fischer); and his brother David Oplet. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Oplt (Hoeffken); his sons, Gregory (Jennifer) and Jeffery (Kimberly); and his sister Kathy Mehrmann.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Church (1371 Hamilton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63112).
