With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Gordon Carroll Jr. of Saint Louis, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on May 22, 2026 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Joann Marie Carroll; his grandson Bryan Carroll; and his siblings, Georgeanna McCord, Beverly "Sue" Dolas (late Ted), Jerry Carroll (late Pat) and Linda Tasch (late Jim).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary (6464 Chippewa St, St. Louis, MO 63109). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary the Chapel (6464 Chippewa St, St. Louis, MO 63109).
