She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Triplett and Enola Triplett; her husband Alan Newman; her daughters-in-law, Stacey Thornhill and Gwen Thornhill; and her siblings, Loyd Triplett, Clarye Triplett and Naomi Triplett.
She is survived by: her children, David Thornhill, Elizabeth Thornhill, Melinda Stewart (Brian), Kevin Thornhill, Melanie Stahlman and Scott Newman; and her sisters-in-law, Vicki Triplett and June Triplett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
