With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hau-Chiu Chu (Saint Louis, Missouri), born in Canton, Missouri, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steven; her parents, Sze-Keung Wong and Fung-Chui Chow; her grandson Brenden Kellogg; and her sister Hau-Ling Wong.
She is survived by: her children, William Chu of St. Louis, David Chu (Jenna) of St. Louis and Julie Kellogg of St. Louis, Missouri; her granddaughters, Breanna Kellogg, Tiffany Chu and Brittany Chu; and her sisters, Betty Kow-Hong Lam (Lok-Kao) of St. Louis, Diana Hau-Wah Wong (Wai-Tsuen Chu) of St. Louis, Missouri, Jennie Hau-Chun (Benjamin), Man of Chesterfield, Lily Hau-Lai Lem (Shing) of Toronto, Canada and Hau-Fong Wong (Lou Von Till) of St. Louis, Missouri.. She is also survived by 9 nieces, 5 nephews, and 2 grandnieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Valhalla Chapel of Memories (7600 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63133). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
