He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice L. Pendelton (Graves) and Willie Pendelton Sr.; his wife Patricia Pendelton; his daughter Patricia Marie Pendelton; his siblings, Willie, Louis Pendelton, Diane Graves and Margie Lawson; and his grandson Christopher Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald L. Forrest (Michele), Michael A Pendelton (Sharon), Mark A, Henry A Pendelton, Shirley A. Pendelton, Andrea Martin (Bryon), Shannon Mack-Pendelton and Portia Pendelton; his siblings, Patricia A. Tatum, Marie Freeman, Phillip E. Graves (Saint Louis) and John E. Graves Jr. (Kathy) of Saint Louis, Missouri; and his former wife Ella Mitchell. He is also survived by grandchildren; (18) great-grandchildren.
