She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Peaker; her parents, Joseph Nies and Dorothy Nies; and her brother Joseph Nies. She is survived by: her children, Jim Peaker (Denise), Dorothy Gardner (Bryan) and Irene Quick (Bryan); her siblings, Dorothy Wokovich (Joseph) and Jack Nies (Suzanne); her sister-in-law Joan Nies; her grandchildren, Nick, Meagan, Madison, Jaxon and Ethan; and her great grandchild Jethro. She is also survived by many cousins, and childhood friends.
