He was predeceased by: his parents, George Furlong and Tressie (Joplin); and his siblings, Maxine (Young), Eldon "Bob" (Laverne), Jerry (Sharon), Jeannie Stephenson (Tommy) and Pamela Furlong Viele.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Janet) and Neal (Suzy); his grandchildren, Brandon (Sarah), David (Annie), Tierney and Jackson; and his siblings, Earl (Sue) and Sharon Furlong Hughes (Rob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West County Assembly of God (13431 N Outer 40 Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63017).
