We announce the death of Jacqueline Platt Aherron (Saint Louis, Missouri), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 83. Jacqueline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jacqueline will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jacqueline will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jacqueline’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Platt and Mildred Platt; her husband Carlton Thomas Aherron; and her brother Dewitt (Grace). She is survived by: her sons, Thomas and Neal (Kathy); her brother Vernon (Vicki); and her granddaughters, Aly (Gustav) and Abby.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Helen Fitzgerald's.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Brain Injury, Association of Missouri.
