James Francis Hitchcock Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Francis Hitchcock of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Francis Hitchcock to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hitchcock (Hull); and his parents, George Hitchcock and Stella Hitchcock (Martin). He is survived by: his children, Alexandra Kassing (Don) of Summerville, SC, Consuelo Hitchcock of Washington, DC, Hilary Hitchcock of St. Louis and Louisa Spampinato (Robert) of Brooklyn, NY.; his grandchildren, Francesca Kassing (Thomas Petrilak), Orlando Kassing, Amelia Kassing (Keishin Sadava), Dominic Kassing, Bruno and Pascal Spampinato; and his sister Elizabeth Fiske.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lupton-Millard Chapel (7233 Delmar Blvd, University City, MO 63130). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (6052 Waterman Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Rosati-Kain Academy.
