He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Imo and Evelyn Imo. He is survived by: his spouse Robin Imo; his children, Melissa Imo-Moffitt (Doyle Moffitt), Andrea Imo-Barbata (Tony Barbata), Rebecca Imo (Tim Hendrix), Anna Coats (Brian), James Imo II (Cassi) and Michael Imo (Kayla); his grandchildren, Benjamin Lomax, Liam Moffitt, Vivian Moffitt, Ella Barbata, Anthony Barbata, Logan Hendrix, Olivia Imo-Hendrix, Mason Hendrix, Layla Coats, Julia Coats, James Imo III and Dominic Imo; and his pet Charlie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary (6464 Chippewa St, St. Louis, MO 63109). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (5140 Wilson Avenue).
