She was predeceased by: her mother Ann Elizabeth Gebel; and her siblings, Bill Gebel and Carol O'Dell (Gebel). She is survived by: her father William Frederick Gebel; her husband Richard J. Piel; and her siblings, Laurie Genazzi (Gebel) and Ken Gebel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
