In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jeanette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jeanette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Byrd (Weaver) and Raymond Byrd; her husband Richard J. Prater; and her siblings, Harry Byrd, Cathie White and Connie Coblentz.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Prater-May (Jay Fisher); her grandchildren, Cheyenne and Kegan May; and her sister Joyce Emert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
