He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Jackson; and his stepmother Twila Britton. He is survived by: his friend Bill Walters; his wife Judy Britton; his son Steven Britton; his stepson Chris Carr; and his siblings, Lola Williams, Lisa (Wes Terry), Lory (Stephen George), Gena (Jack Landfather), Aaron (Pam Britton), Dan (Wendy Britton) and Jason Britton. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
The military honors was held on Monday, July 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
