She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wade and Gladys Wade (Massey); her husband John D. McDowell; her sister Jackie Underwood; and her stepdaughter Robin McDowell.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hutchinson, Michael McDowell and Brenden McDowell; her stepdaughters, Patricia Chance (Mike) and Dawn Prater; and her grandchildren, Ian McDowell, Rachel Hutchinson, Stephanie Cunningham, Barbara Hutchinson, Missy Garren, Mandy Kopf, Jessica Johnson, Austin Prater, Jennifer Ingram, Angela Goudy and Ashley Schlueter. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
