She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Martin and Lorraine Martin; her brother Bob Martin (Judy Martin); and her nieces and nephews, Sarah Danzl, Laura Noe, Mike Martin and Steve Martin.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Thomas; her son Ken Warhover; her grandchildren, Alex, Claire, Kristen and Tom; her sister Susan Noe; her brother-in-law Les Noe; and her family, Joan, Kim and Janice.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joan's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, reflecting her lifelong support and admiration for the work they do.
