He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Kassay; his sibling Darlin Tackett (Hobert); and his parents, John Kassay and Theresa Kassay. He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Kassay and Jamie Heineck (Michael); his grandchildren, Reily Kassay, Christian Kassay and Kaleb Barry; and his siblings, Jean Kamrada (Ed), Michael Kassay (Gloria), Shirley Singleton (late Dennis), Mary DeVite and Ann Connors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel (1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
