He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen J. "Joann" Collins; his children, Jeffrey Michael (Mary), John Patrick Luby III and Angela Marie (Joe); his grandchildren, Robyn Shroyer (Ryan), Cole Luby (Makenna), Mitchell Brooks, Trent Luby, Shea Luby, Chase Luby, Ryan Smith (Cassandra), Andrew Smith and Nicholas Smith; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Shroyer and Theofanis "Theo" Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Collier's Funeral Home (3400 N Lindbergh Blvd, St Ann, MO 63074). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (405 S Church St, Wentzville, MO 63385).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Theodore's Church (https://www.sainttheodore.org), 5051 Hwy P, Wentzville, MO 63385 or to Strong Tower Ranch, 600 Sunshine Ln, Wright City, MO 63390.
