We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 84, John Van Doran Bowman of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Webster Groves, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Van Doran Bowman to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John Van shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John Van farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas "Red" and Dorothy "Polly" Bowman (Pollitt); and his siblings, Charles Thomas and Jane Wells (Bowman). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne (Hofer); his sons, Tom Bowman and Andrew Bowman; his daughter-in-law Kara (Eckert); and his grandchildren, Casey and Charlie Bowman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122).
