He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Simmons. He is survived by: his son Simmons IV (Sheryl); his brother Eric Sayles (Elaine); his granddaughters, Gabrielle Calvin (Donyle) and Jennifer Simmons; his aunt Marilyn Douglas (David); and his niece Alexandria Franks (Jordan). He is also survived by nephews, cousins and friends.
