He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. and Mary F. Hampel (Newport). He is survived by: his son Joseph; and his siblings, Paul Hampel (Laurie), Mary Ann Hampel (Jeff), William Hampel, Steven Hampel (Lori) and Daniel Hampel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
