We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Karen Sims (Saint Louis, Missouri), born in Berwick, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Karen has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Sims; her parents, Richard P. Hampel and Katherine D. Hampel; and her brother Phillip Hampel. She is survived by: her son Erik Sims (Tina); her grandson Nathan Sims (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Luca and Emily; and her sisters, Paula Jones (late Tim Jones) and Starr Himmel (Steve). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
