Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lola Mae Bird (Saint Louis, Missouri), born in Dyer, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 85, on June 1, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Dean (Pintner) and George Dean; her husband Roland Bird (Ronny); her siblings, William, Robert Dean, Wanita Cobb and Joan King; her daughter-in-law Kathy Bird; and her grandsons, Andrew Schneider and Matthew Plate.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Bird (Eva), Cynthia Plate (Tom), Ronald Bird and Renee Blanken; her grandchildren, Sara Gebbia (Nick), Amanda McDonald (Josh), Kristen Bird, Troy Bird, Seth McDonald, Abby, Amayah and Alyssa McDonald; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Maxwell Gebbia, Killian and Rylan Acosta; and her sister June Mauritzen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel (1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rich and Charlie's (9942 Watson Rd, St. Louis, MO 63126).
