It is with sadness that the passing of Lynne Holzhausen Einig (Saint Louis, Missouri) is shared. Lynne, born on August 24, 1942, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard G. Einig; her sons, Richard W. Einig and Michael R. Einig (Carla Gonzalez Gerard); her foster children, Larry Richter and Luong Einig; her grandchildren, Kyler S. Einig, Kilian M. Einig and Christina Einig; and her sibling Gail A. Holzhausen (Dan Davis). She was also cherished by relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel (7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (5020 Rhodes Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to a charity of the donors' choice in Lynne's honor.
