It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Ruth Mayer of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond A. Kuehn and Grace L. Kuehn; and her sister Martha K. Roos (Erwin). She is survived by: her husband Erwin W Mayer; her children, Cynthia Ruggeri (Charles), Richard Mayer (Tammy), Susan Hurt (Kevin) and Jennifer Solomon (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Lindsay Leeka (Carter), Kelsey Jacobs (Christopher), Ashley Eckhardt (Kyle), Matthew Mayer, Ian Hurt (Amarie), Colin Hurt, Jenna Parker (Cameron) and Nate Solomon; and also Bayless. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, niece, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
