He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Baxter and Martha Baxter. He is survived by: his wife Karen Baxter (Mitchell); his sons, Mark "Wesley" Baxter (Alyssa) and Jerad Baxter (Maylene); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Noelle, Rylen and Warren; and his brothers, John Baxter (Linda) and Robert Baxter (Terri). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the St. Trinity Cemetery (2160 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
