He was predeceased by: his former wife Denise Marie Bertholin Braun. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his parents, Michael Braun and Ann Braun; his siblings, Stephen Braun (Ali), Julie Smolin (Jared) and Kelly Murray (Caleb); his parents-in-law, Keith and Monica Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Smith (Jenna) and Martin Smith (Jillian Jarboe). He is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary (6464 Chippewa St, St. Louis, MO 63109). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Louis Area Foodbank, UNICEF, or the Winter Inn program at St. Francis Xavier College Church.
