He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Marvin Bernstein, Dr. Pu Shu and Limei Shu. He is survived by : his parents, Dr. Keith Bernstein and Dr. Hui Hua Shu; his brother Alexander Bernstein; his grandmother Evelyn Efron Bernstein; and his aunts and uncles, Karen (Brent Comensky), Joseph (Leah Bernstein), Dr. Rachel Shu (Michael Moore), Dr. Hui Kuo Shu (Chi Ming Chang), Hui Min Shu (Sony Tan) and Dr. Huidy Shu (Lalita Suzuki).
