She was predeceased by : her parents, Getth Richard and Mildred Richard of St. Louis; her husband Marvin Nelson; and her grandchild Ryan. She is survived by : her siblings, Edward Richard and Connie Lisitano; her children, Dennis Nelson Dana (Anita) and Dawn Buechner (Bob); and her grandchildren, Lesley, Tim, Jamie, Getth and Christopher.
