She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Chappuis and Laverne Chappuis; and her brother Gary Chappuis. She is survived by: her husband Keith Vernon; her sons, Matthew Nivens (Sarah), Marc Nivens (Nicole) and Zachary Vernon (Mackenzie); her grandchildren, Claire, Everly, Colin, Dax, Joshua, Tristan and Remi; and her sibling Gene Chappuis (Sandy).
