He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Burroughs (Jaeger) and Ralph Robert Burroughs; his wife Naoe Kakesu; and his son Ralph Russell Burroughs. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Heather O'Toole (Jeff) of Phoenix, Arizona, Emma M. Burroughs of St. Louis, Missouri and Ralph Jackson Burroughs of St. Louis, Missouri; and his sister Nancy Brazee of O'Fallon, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valhalla Chapel of Memories (7600 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63133). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Valhalla Chapel of Memories 7600 St Charles Rock Road St Louis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Center for Animal Rescue and Enrichment (CARE STL).
