He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Flath (Kemp); and his brother-in-law Jim Cook. He is survived by: his father Clifford Flath; his wife Michelle Flath (Brugger) of Jackson, Missouri; his children, Zachary Flath (Abby Payne) and Zoe Flath (Shane Jansen); his sisters, Phyllis Cook, Patty Owens and Brittany Martin (Damian) of Marble Hill; his mother-in-law Marian Brugger; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Hutteger (Rick), Brent Brugger (DeOnna) and Rick Brugger (Robin); his nieces and nephews, Eric Flath (Kyla), Michael Owens (Brooke), Kyle Brugger, Jamie Findeiss (TJ), Megan Wulfers (Jeremy), Dustin Hutteger and Breanna Brugger; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayleigh, Kaelin, Keaton, Audrey, Thomas, Joel, Nora, Tommy, Kameron, Leyton, Brynn, Hudson, Piper, Marlie, Conner and Korbyn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Connection Point Church (358 E Deerwood Dr, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center in jackson, Missouri on behalf of the Flath family to assist in funeral expensnses.
