“Ms Torry was my 2nd grade teacher at Bishop Healy. I had the pleasure of being under her wings from 2nd-8th grade. Ms Torry did not play about knowing our heritage and often taught us different African languages. (Swahili was her fav)Ms Torry would pull my desk into the hallway when I disrupted her teaching, and make me sit in the turtle position. Ms Torry ALWAYS had a lot of "stuff". Mr Torry pulled up in his black car & was happy us kids was eager to carry her items. I love you & you're a GE”
