He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis (Gary); his grandparents, James, Norma Treadway, Raymond and Helen Carrell; his aunts and uncles, Willie Sunshine, Pat Halbrook, Shirley (Howard) Zbornak and Allen Carrell; and his brother-in-law Dave Moultrie.
He is survived by: his father Rick; his siblings, Kelly Carrell, Stephanie Sunshine, Shauna Moultrie, Lisa Sunshine and Eric Sunshine; his nibling Lizzy; his grandchild Payton Parson; and his aunts, Karen Sunshine and Barbara (Roger) Pikul. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
